Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern access to the website, use of the platform, purchase of services, project delivery, payment handling, and interactions between Comp, clients, and service providers.

1. Acceptance

By accessing the website, creating an account, submitting a brief, purchasing a service, or using any related support or communication channel, the user agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and any additional policies referenced on the site.

2. Nature of Services

Comp operates as a digital agency and service delivery platform. Services may include strategy, branding, design, development, content production, campaign support, consulting, or custom scoped execution. Deliverables, timelines, revision rules, and payment requirements depend on the specific service or proposal.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

Users are responsible for ensuring that their registration information is accurate and current. Account holders must maintain the confidentiality of login credentials and are responsible for activity that occurs through their accounts unless unauthorised access is promptly reported.

4. Orders and Project Scopes

Clients are responsible for reviewing the relevant service scope, pricing, timelines, revision limits, assumptions, and dependencies before making a purchase. Any work requested beyond the agreed scope may require a new quote, revised brief, additional payment, or a separate custom order.

5. Client Responsibilities

Clients must provide timely information, approvals, assets, credentials, and feedback required to complete the work. Delays caused by missing inputs, repeated scope changes, or prolonged silence may affect timelines, scheduling, or delivery commitments.

6. Seller and Delivery Standards

Service providers and delivery teams are expected to perform work professionally, within the defined service scope, and in line with lawful, ethical, and commercially reasonable standards. Comp may restrict, suspend, or remove service access where conduct, quality, fraud risk, or compliance concerns justify intervention.

7. Pricing, Fees, and Commission

Prices are shown on the website, through direct links, or through custom quotes. Comp may retain platform or agency commissions, administration fees, or structured margins as part of the service model. Seller-specific commission arrangements may apply where configured internally, while the default platform rate applies in other cases.

8. Payments

Payments are processed through approved third-party infrastructure. A charge is not considered fully final until the payment processor confirms settlement. Comp may delay fulfillment, hold balances, or restrict withdrawals where fraud checks, dispute risk, charge reviews, or compliance flags require caution.

9. Refunds and Cancellations

Refund decisions depend on the status of the work, the project stage, the evidence available, the nature of the complaint, and applicable law. Comp may decline refund requests where work has already been substantially performed, access has been provided, fraud indicators exist, or contractual obligations have already been met.

10. Payouts and Seller Balances

Seller balances may be subject to clearing periods, payout reviews, reserve holds, withdrawal approval flows, fraud checks, compliance obligations, and ledger corrections. Comp may block withdrawals or apply offset logic where previous payouts, disputes, refunds, chargebacks, or accounting corrections create a deficit or risk condition.

11. Intellectual Property

Unless a service scope states otherwise, rights in final deliverables transfer only after full payment for the relevant order has been received and any chargeback or fraud review risk has materially cleared. Preliminary concepts, internal systems, methods, templates, and reusable agency know-how remain the property of Comp or the relevant creator unless expressly assigned in writing.

12. Acceptable Use

Users must not engage in fraud, charge abuse, harassment, credential misuse, illegal activity, intellectual property infringement, data scraping, system interference, or any conduct that threatens the reliability, safety, or reputation of the platform or its participants.

13. Suspension and Termination

Comp may suspend or terminate access, remove listings, block transactions, cancel services, or hold funds where abuse, non-payment, repeated disputes, false information, regulatory risk, platform manipulation, or other serious concerns arise.

14. Disclaimers

The website and services are provided on an as-available basis unless otherwise set out in a signed commercial agreement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Comp disclaims warranties not expressly stated, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Comp will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, loss of data, or business interruption arising from use of the site or services. Any direct liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific affected order, except where law does not permit such limitation.

16. Indemnity

Users agree to indemnify and hold Comp harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from their misuse of the platform, breach of these terms, infringement of third-party rights, unlawful conduct, or project materials they provide for use in the service delivery process.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws designated by Comp in its primary operating jurisdiction, unless mandatory law requires otherwise. Users agree to attempt good-faith resolution through support before escalating a dispute.

18. Changes to Terms

Comp may revise these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms become effective when posted unless a later date is specified. Continued use of the site or services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
